About the Role
Lead and supervise frontline operations teams responsible for room setups, facility cleanliness, and venue readiness
Oversee day‑to‑day event execution to ensure high standards of safety, efficiency, and professionalism
Support the successful delivery of events of varying size and complexity
Take ownership of the overall condition and presentation of a high‑profile public venue
Motivate, coach, and support team members in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
What You’ll Do | As an Operations Supervisor, you will:
Lead, organize, and supervise frontline staff responsible for event set-up, breakdown, and housekeeping
Actively rotate as Manager on Duty (MOD) during events, serving as an on-site leader and problem-solver
Interpret Event Planning Sheets (EPS) and adjust staffing, equipment, and timelines to meet event needs
Safely operate forklifts and other mechanized equipment to transport staging, chairs, tables, and other materials
Ensure all exits, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet safety and egress requirements
Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage rooms, service corridors, and work areas
Monitor and enforce Classic Center safety policies and procedures
Identify equipment or facility issues and report repair needs promptly to Operations and Engineering leadership
Collaborate closely with fellow supervisors and operational departments to ensure clear communication and smooth execution
Promote cost-conscious practices, inventory control, and efficient use of resources
Serve as a visible leader who helps set the tone for professionalism, teamwork, and service excellence
Schedule Expectations
This role follows an event-driven schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of our clients and guests
What We’re Looking For | Required / Preferred Qualifications:
At least one year in a similar supervisory role in an arena, stadium, convention center, or theater preferred.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle changing priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
Reliable transportation and a valid state driver’s license.
Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
A leader who balances efficiency with a strong focus on customer service.
