As a Supervisor, you won’t just manage routes; you’ll lead a team of frontline professionals, ensuring labs, hospitals, and pharmacies get what they need, when they need it most.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, hands-on environment and is ready to take the next step into leadership. You’ll work closely with drivers, dispatchers, and healthcare clients to deliver operational excellence every day.
What You’ll Do
● Lead a local team of employee medical couriers performing scheduled routes and urgent on-demand pickups.
● Hire, onboard, and train new drivers with clarity and consistency.
● Support the field team, answering real-time questions and resolving service issues on the fly.
● Audit routes and schedules to ensure coverage and compliance with procedures.
● Manage equipment and supplies (phones, bags, ice packs, badges) to keep drivers ready.
● Monitor timesheets, performance, and customer satisfaction, collaborating with Dispatch and leadership to fine-tune daily operations.
● Be a trusted bridge between the field and the administration, bringing context, clarity, and calm to the team.
What You Bring
● 3+ years of experience supervising teams in logistics, transportation, or healthcare operations.
● Knowledge of the Bay Area (San Jose, East Bay, Peninsula) and a calm, professional presence under pressure.
● Ability to work flexible hours is a must, including early mornings or weekends as needed.
● Ability to drive long distances when required.
● High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college or vocational training is a plus.
● Valid CA driver’s license, clean driving record, and access to a personal vehicle with up-to-date registration and proof of insurance.
● Comfort using mobile apps, GPS tools, and digital reporting systems.
● Familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA, or HAZMAT guidelines is a plus, but we’ll provide training to the right candidate.
● Language skills: bilingual (English, Spanish) required.
Physical Requirements
This position requires regular movement and physical activity in the field. The ideal candidate must be able to:
● Walk and stand for extended periods
● Bend, squat, and reach to access packages or materials
● Lift and carry up to 40 pounds without assistance
● Navigate stairs, loading docks, and tight spaces as needed
● Work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
What You’ll Get
● Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
● Mileage reimbursement and travel support
● Healthcare benefits, paid holidays, and PTO
● Bonus opportunities tied to performance and reliability
● A mission-driven team that supports real healthcare outcomes
● Clear expectations and a collaborative environment, no guesswork, no burnout culture
This is a leadership role with a purpose.
