Role background

Wolt is a Finnish technology company and until recently, we’ve been best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order everything from pizza to paracetamol and either pick it up at the venue or have it delivered by our courier partners.

As our Operations Specialist - Courier Supply, you will be responsible for the supply operations in our region and making sure that couriers have everything needed in order to provide the best quality of service throughout all stages of delivery - from our restaurants & retailers to the customers.

In our Operations team, no day is the same, so you need to be self-motivated, driven to succeed, and have excellent interpersonal, and community-building skills!

What you'll be doing

• Identify and suggest new opportunities to improve courier supply through data-driven insights and industry trends.

• Use analytical tools and judgment to balance courier supply and demand, ensuring optimal delivery operations.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (e.g., fleet companies) to align on courier supply goals and strategies.

• Share process improvement ideas and support the development of scalable supply operations.

• Execute and follow up on initiatives prioritized by your manager or team lead, with the opportunity to take ownership of larger projects and workstreams.

• Support the operations supply team in managing courier supply, resolving daily challenges, and ensuring timely deliveries.

• Onboard, retain and grow the number of happy Courier Partners on Wolt’s platform, to ensure a healthy and sustainable delivery operation.
