Required Skills
Job Description
Company Description
Today, when you go to your doctor and get referred to a specialist (e.g., for sleep apnea), your doctor sends out a referral and tells you, “They’ll be in touch soon.” So you wait. And wait. Sometimes days, weeks, or even months. Why? Because too often specialists and medical services are overwhelmed with referrals and the painstakingly manual process it takes to qualify your referral prevents them from getting around to it on time, or sometimes at all. Tennr prevents these delays and denials by making sure every referral gets where it needs to go, with the right info, at the right time. Powered by RaeLM™ Tennr reads, extracts, and acts on every piece of patient information so providers can capture more referrals, slash denials, and reduce delays.
Role Description
This role sits at the intersection of operations, product, and customer success. You’re essentially the translator between how DME actually works in the real world - across intake, order validation, prior authorization, scheduling - and how we represent those workflows inside Tennr’s platform.
You’re not here to sell software or write logic directly - you’re here to make sure what we build actually solves the right problems.
Responsibilities
• Partner with Sales to understand imaging use cases and ensure SOWs reflect realistic, operationally sound workflows
• Identify operational bottlenecks across diagnostic imaging workflows and validate that proposed solutions are viable in practice
• Participate in customer discovery sessions to understand referral intake, scheduling, authorization, and reporting challenges
• Act as a bridge between imaging operations and technology by translating real-world needs into scalable product requirements
• Support and train internal teams by sharing expertise on radiology operations, payer requirements, and imaging workflows
Candidate Qualifications
• 5–10+ years in radiology, diagnostics, or healthcare operations (imaging center operations, clinical ops, or management)
• Deep knowledge of payer rules, authorization requirements, documentation requirements, and EMR/EHR workflows.
• Strong understanding of modality-specific workflows (CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, etc.)
• Proven ability to translate operations into product features and vice versa.
• Strong cross-functional communicator who can work effectively with Sales, Product, Implementation, and customers
Why Tennr?

• Build Relationships: collaborate and connect with like-minded, driven individuals in our Chelsea office 4 days/week (preferred)
• Free lunch! Plus a pantry full of snacks.
