Operations Optimization Coordinator | Hybrid Guadalajara MX

MezTal is seeking an Operations Optimization Coordinator to support one of our U.S.-based clients within the hospitality and workforce management industry.

This role is focused on ensuring that daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for coordinating activities across multiple teams, tracking requests, and making sure processes are executed correctly and on time. You will also work with data and dashboards to identify improvement opportunities and help optimize operational workflows.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operational activities across teams such as Operations, Finance, and Field teams
• Manage and follow up on multiple requests, ensuring timely execution and completion
• Support scheduling and assignment of team members to client accounts through internal systems
• Track operational workflows and ensure processes are followed consistently
• Monitor and maintain operational dashboards and reports (Power BI or similar tools)
• Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements to enhance performance and scalability
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve dependencies and unblock processes
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal procedures
• Support onboarding coordination and communication with field teams
• Assist with financial tracking related to assignments, expenses, and operational activities
• Audit operational data and reports to ensure accuracy and alignment with policies
• Troubleshoot operational issues and proactively address challenges before escalation
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:
What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in operations, coordination, or process management roles
• Strong experience managing workflows, tracking tasks, and coordinating across teams
• Experience using dashboards or reporting tools (Power BI preferred)
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks consistently
• Proactive mindset with a focus on identifying and solving problems
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Advanced English (required)
