Job Title: Operations Manager (Night Shift)
Shift: 7 PM- 4 AM IST
Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of professionals supporting US export operations for polymers
Set direction, priorities, and workload distribution across teams
Act as the primary escalation point for operational, customer, and stakeholder issues
Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service levels
Ensure strong governance across functions including inventory management, contracts, invoice validation, supplier coordination, and collaboration with accounting teams
Provide oversight to operations involving shipping lines, truckers, and warehouses to ensure shipments are executed as planned
Ensure compliance with US export regulations, internal SOPs, and audit requirements
Monitor KPIs, identify trends and risks, and implement corrective actions
Partner closely with US-based teams and senior stakeholders to ensure continuity across time zones
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
8–12+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or export operations
3–5+ years of people management experience, preferably managing large teams
Strong knowledge of US export processes, documentation, and compliance
Hands-on experience working with shipping lines, freight contracts, truckers, and warehouses
Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven operations in a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience in polymers, chemicals, or commodities logistics is a plus
Proficiency with ERP systems, logistics platforms, and MS Excel preferred
