We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to lead daily operations, drive business growth, and ensure exceptional service delivery. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including operations, financial performance, team leadership, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in restoration, construction, or a related service-based industry, who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
Lead daily operations across departments to ensure efficiency, quality, and on-time project delivery
Monitor WIP, backlog, and job performance; address gaps and drive continuous improvement
Ensure strong communication and alignment across all teams
Financial Performance
Own P&L, budgeting, and expense control
Monitor cash flow, A/R, and overall financial health
Partner with finance and leadership to review performance and drive profitability
Leadership & Team Development
Develop high-performing team members (“A players”)
Coach leaders through regular one-on-ones, GS&Rs, and performance conversations
Build an accountable, engaged, and team-oriented culture
Sales & Growth
Partner with sales and marketing to drive revenue and market growth
Review performance, refine strategy, and participate in business development efforts
Maintain strong relationships with insurance partners and referral sources
Customer Experience
Ensure high customer satisfaction and quality across all projects
Resolve escalated issues quickly and professionally
Compliance & Standards
Ensure adherence to franchise standards, company policies, and insurance program requirements
Maintain participation in key carrier and TPA programs
Culture & Representation
Lead with integrity and uphold Paul Davis values, mission, and service standards
Represent the company professionally in the community and industry
Qualifications
5+ years of leadership experience in restoration, construction, or a related service-based industry
Strong understanding of restoration operations, including mitigation and reconstruction estimating (Xactimate preferred)
Experience with project management, business development, and customer service in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
Strong communication, problem-solving, and situational leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Solid financial acumen, including the ability to read and manage financial statements, budgets, and performance metrics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ability to learn and operate industry systems (RMS, Xactimate)
Professional, composed under pressure, and able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Management, or a related field
5–10 years of experience in restoration or construction
Experience with sales and business development
IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, etc.)
Formal leadership development or management training
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (in accordance with company and insurance requirements)
Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check, consistent with applicable Colorado law
5+ years of leadership experience in restoration, construction, or a related field
Experience in project management, estimating, or operations within a service-based or construction environment
Ability to read, interpret, and manage financial statements and performance metrics
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
