Vixxo is seeking an Operations Intern to join our Summer 2026 Internship Program at our Dallas, TX office.

* 32 hours per week Monday – Thursday

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Summer Intern to support our Facilities Maintenance team with a focus on construction-related projects. This internship offers practical, field-based experience working alongside experienced maintenance and construction professionals. The selected candidate will gain exposure to facility repairs, preventative maintenance, light construction projects, signage, lighting, safety compliance, and project coordination within active commercial environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing construction/project management, engineering, facilities management, or a related field who wants real-world experience in building systems and maintenance operations.

Responsibilities:

• Support preventative maintenance activities across building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural)

• Help coordinate vendors and contractors during onsite work

• Assist with material takeoffs, inventory tracking, and procurement support

• Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and safety documentation

• Support project managers and facilities supervisors with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications / The Ideal Candidate:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Construction/Project Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field

• Basic understanding of construction methods, tools, and jobsite safety

• Ability to read basic construction drawings (preferred but not required)

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Detail-oriented with a proactive, team-first mindset

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management or CMMS systems is a plus
