WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Graduate to join our team in  Singapore, Asia. The Alfred H Knight Operational Graduate Programme provides a strong foundation for graduates eager to develop their skills and build a long-term career with a leading company in the TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) industry, specialising in metals, minerals, and solid fuels.

Based in Asia Singapore, the role will involve an eighteenth- month development programme. During which time you will spend time learning about AHK, working within, and gaining an understanding of our Global Operations. You may also experience travel to a variety of our overseas entities (often at short notice) once the initial training programme has been completed.This experience, coupled with your drive, will open up further opportunities in the Group. Other candidates that have followed a similar programme have taken up operational and management roles both in the UK and overseas.

Required Personal Qualities

Analytical: the ability to draw accurate and informative conclusions from detailed research without losing sight of the bigger picture. 

Ambition: Must have ambitions to have a career in an Operational Environment. 

Willingness: A growth mindset, willing to learn, co-operative and enabling attitude towards training and personal development. 

Required Work Experience

Previous internship or initial professional work experience in a commercial environment is desirable but not essential. 

Required Qualifications

Minimum of a Second Class Upper Honors (Distinction) Bachelor degree  in a Science background (Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Geology, Metallurgy) 

A full, clean driving licence is advantageous 

Required Languages 

Fluency in other languages such as Bahasa and Mandarin are desirable but not essential
