Position Summary:
The Operations Coordinator assists the manufacturing department by providing administrative and data entry support within a fluid and fast-paced industrial environment. Aids in facilitating production through order facilitation, research, reconciliation processes, and inventory related activities
Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities::
• Maintain and organize records, work orders, and other related inventory transactions
• Engage in data entry and order processing
• Review and reconcile production information and related paperwork
• Assist with system inventory maintenance and associated tasks
• Process and print product tags
• Receive and direct visitors
• Answer telephones and redirect calls as appropriate
• Maintain a level of professionalism among team members and colleagues
• Assist in other administrative duties as needed
• Additional duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Requirements::
• High School Diploma/GED (General Equivalency Diploma) or one year related industrial experience or equivalent training
• 2+ years of previous administrative or clerical experience; industrial environment a plus
• Excellent verbal/written communication and phone skills
• Strong math skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and related computer applications
• Adept typing and data entry skills
• Familiarity with operation of general office equipment to include but not limited to: printers, copiers, fax machines, scanners, etc.
• Proven organizational and time management skills; attention to detail
• Cooperatively works and interacts with members of various departments
