Operations Associate, Campus Solutions

Hillel International

Role Overview

Hillel International’s Campus Solutions Department unites eight specialized teams — including the Jewish Agency Israel Fellow Program, Campus Partners (HCP), Israel Leadership Network (ILN), Safety and Security, Campus Impact Advisors (CIA), and Antisemitism Research and Education (ARE), Campus Climate Initiative (CCI) — to strengthen Jewish student life across North America.

Our mission is to foster meaningful connections to Israel and Zionism while confronting antisemitism in all its forms. We partner with students and campus professionals to empower Jewish students, address antisemitic incidents proactively, and create campus environments where Jewish life can thrive — proudly and openly.

As the Operations Associate, you’ll serve as the organizational and operational support for this department. You will provide essential administrative and logistical support across the Campus Solution’s Department and the Israel Action & Addressing Antisemitism Program (IAP). Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Campus Solutions, you will work closely with program leaders to ensure smooth project execution, accurate financial and data management, and efficient internal operations that help maximize our impact. This position is entirely remote for eligible U.S.-based applicants.

What You’ll Do

Financial and Data Management

• Track IAP expenses and assist with financial reporting, payments, and audits.

• Maintain accurate data, metrics, and records across Hillel’s systems (Salesforce, Slack, Google Workspace, and others).

Program and Event Coordination

• Manage logistics and budgets for Campus Solutions and the IAP program, including events, speaker tours, and department meetings.

• Support event planning, vendor coordination, and travel arrangements.

Communications and Administration

• Draft and edit communications, reports, and presentations for departmental leadership.

• Manage scheduling, onboarding, and other key administrative processes.

• Serve as a central point of coordination for the Campus Solutions Senior Vice President and team leads.

Who You Are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• 1–3 years of experience in operations, logistics, program coordination, or a related field (nonprofit, education, or Jewish communal experience preferred).

Skills & Strengths

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; able to juggle multiple projects efficiently.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Experience with budgeting, invoicing, and digital tools such as Bill.com, CRMs, or similar systems.

• Tech-savvy and comfortable with platforms like Google Workspace and project management tools.

• Proactive problem solver who takes initiative and follows through.

• Exercises sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.

• Interest in Israel engagement and/or confronting antisemitism.

What You’ll Receive

• Salary: $46,000–$53,000 annually (commensurate with experience).

• This position is entirely remote for eligible U.S.-based applicants.

• Benefits: Comprehensive package including health insurance, retirement plan, life, AD&D, and LTD insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, generous vacation and sick time, and parental leave.

• Professional Growth: Outstanding mentorship, skill-building, and professional development opportunities.

• Community: Join a passionate, collaborative team working to ensure Jewish students feel safe, proud, and connected on campuses across North America.

• Travel: Occasional regional travel opportunities, if desired.
