About the role
Insite Energy is looking for an Operations & Maintenance Contracts Manager who can lead the end‑to‑end delivery of our operational and commercial commitments across property services, commercial systems, and distribution networks.
In this pivotal role, you’ll shape and deliver comprehensive contract plans, oversee day‑to‑day performance, and ensure every contract meets its KPIs, statutory requirements, and client expectations. You’ll work closely with our Planning & Resource Team to schedule and implement workstreams, maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and reporting, and drive continuous improvement across all areas of delivery.

Location and working hours:
Full-time position (37.5 hours per week).
Office location: Moorgate, London (WeWork) with flexibility to work from home as agreed with line manager.
Occasional travel to Insite’s offices for face to face meetings
Additional travel for business purposes paid for.
Required skills and attributes:
Experience managing technical service contracts (district heating, M&E, FM, utilities, building services, etc.)
Proven ability to deliver against KPIs, SLAs, and commercial targets
Experience managing multiple Operations & Maintenance or ESCo contracts end‑to‑end
Strong planning, scheduling, and operational coordination skills
Commercial experience: budgets, invoicing, POs, cost control, variations/renewals
Confident communicator with strong reporting and client‑facing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience with CAFM/asset systems (BigChange, MMS, Power BI, etc.)
Experience coordinating subcontractors and internal teams
Bachelor’s degree or four years’ relevant industry experience
Desirable
Knowledge of heat networks, district heating, or ESCo models
Understanding of communal plant, HIUs, secondary networks, and maintenance cycles
Awareness of statutory compliance (gas, electrical, water hygiene, Heat Network Regulations)
Project management qualification (PRINCE2, APM, etc.)
Background in construction, building services, or maintenance
