The Operational Excellence - Process Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the implementation and execution of the Processes and SOPs that are designed and created in consultation with the Operational Excellence Manager. Key duties will include coordinating between all intra-departmental and inter-departmental stakeholders, analysing current workflows along with improvement opportunities, ensuring clear communication of the intended changes and alignment is reached and maintaining process documentation.
Core responsibilities:
Process design and improvement: Following the Operational Excellence Manager’s lead, you’ll be responsible for the actual implementation of new processes, process maps and SOPs, while ensuring that there is a process to continuously review and ensure compliance with the set standards and policies. Particular focus will be on the identification of bottlenecks, inefficiencies and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Process implementation and stakeholder management: You’ll be responsible for stakeholder engagement, which will include engineers, team leads, managers, operations, product, and commercial teams to ensure smooth execution and clear understanding of the objectives.
Implementation roadmap: Ensure that the departmental and any inter-departmental implementation roadmap is aligned and executed according to the implementation time scales - this involves setting up regular cadence and mechanisms to monitor the efficacy of execution and collate feedback.
Reporting and analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyse processes, and ensure that there are checks and balances in place to monitor the execution of the process itself and report on findings and improvements to the Operational Excellence Manager and departmental managers.
Team support and training: Train and support users on new processes and tools and foster a collaborative environment.
Essential skills and qualifications:
Proven experience in business process management, operations improvement, or related project management, ideally in a tech environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in process mapping and process monitoring tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Familiarity with continuous improvement framework.
