Job Description
About Us
Entyre is building the fastest-growing elderly care company in the world. We exist to make it dramatically easier for families to get care when they need it most. We’re scaling quickly across the U.S., launching new markets and building durable operations. This is a company built for speed, execution, and real-world impact — and we’re looking for operators who want to build the systems that make that scale possible.
Position Overview
The Operational Excellence Manager is one of the most operationally critical seats at Entyre. This is not a “process documentation” role. You will travel across our markets to challenge, analyze, and improve local operations — working directly with General Managers and teams to strengthen execution. Your mandate is simple: find inefficiencies, hidden risks, and failure points in how we operate — and eliminate them. You will go to the source of operations (Gemba), observing how work actually happens on the ground and dissecting processes down to the smallest detail, even when they appear to function. This role requires a Six Sigma–style mindset: structured problem solving, root cause analysis, and measurable improvements in key operational input metrics. You will operate under high time pressure, helping markets improve performance quickly while building processes that scale. Beyond improving local operations, you will help ensure leaders across states apply the same working style, operating standards, and execution discipline. This role reports directly to the COO.
Key Responsibilities
• Travel across Entyre markets to evaluate operations and partner with General Managers to improve execution and operational performance.
• Apply a Gemba approach by observing operations directly on the ground to understand how work is actually performed.
• Analyze operational workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, quality issues, and hidden risks.
• Improve the input metrics that drive market performance by strengthening operational processes and execution discipline.
• Apply structured problem-solving methods (e.g., Lean or Six Sigma approaches) to identify root causes and implement durable fixes.
• Challenge existing practices and pressure-test processes continuously, even when they appear to work.
• Operate with urgency at all times, stepping directly into workflows to improve execution and raise performance.
• Design and implement improved workflows, standards, and controls that increase reliability, speed, and scalability.
• Transfer proven operational methods and best practices across markets to raise performance company-wide.
• Build operational dashboards and metrics that provide visibility into process performance and drive accountability.
How We Operate - Non-Negotiable:
"Insanely Great" for Families - Delivered Now:
Forget just 'satisfaction'. We deliver support that makes caregivers feel loved and seen. Understand their pain, anticipate their needs, and solve them – fast. The standard is "Insanely Great," period. Anything less slows us down and fails our families.
Speed is King - Ruthless Focus is the Key:
Velocity comes from focus. Kill distractions. We concentrate all firepower on the #1 critical objective until it's done. Then we attack the next one. Decide what not to do and cut it ruthlessly. Being a mile wide and an inch deep is failure. Move the needle now.
Raise the Bar: Crush Mediocrity:
Mediocrity is poison. It kills speed, morale, and companies. We hunt it down and eliminate it. Good enough is never good enough. Demand A-Player performance from yourself and everyone around you. Own your shit. Deliver excellence, fast. No excuses, no passengers.
The Speed Algorithm: Question. Delete. Simplify. Accelerate.
This is how we build momentum: Question every requirement – who asked? why? Delete ruthlessly – parts, processes, bureaucracy. If you don't add 10% back later, you didn't cut enough. Simplify what's left. Then, accelerate cycle time like hell. Challenge everything. "It can't be done" means "You haven't figured it out yet. Go do it." Break bottlenecks, find shortcuts, remove friction.
Act Like Owners - Bold Bets, Fast Action:
This is your company. Own the mission, own the results. Don't wait for permission – take initiative. Make bold bets that can leapfrog progress for our families. Act decisively. Move fast. If you stumble, learn faster and go again. Bias for action is everything.
The Bottom Line:
We are building something vital and doing it at lightning speed. This requires intensity, focus, and a relentless drive to execute. If reading this makes you want to jump up and build faster, welcome to Entyre. If not, get out of the way.
