The Position

As an Operating Controller you have a business-critical role. Your passion for being an interactive business partner combine with your strong data analysis skills and optimization of efficiencies will serve you well in this key finance position.

The position enhances financial oversight, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making within a company. Its purpose is to ensure accurate financial reporting, optimize cost management, project management and support business performance—directly contributing to the company’s profitability and long-term success.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate as integrated part of global, region and site team in Envalior.
• Work on optimizing and harmonizing financial processes & reporting, and implementing best practice.
• Ability to effectively operate in virtual teams across the region and globe, with multiple stakeholders (in- and outside of Envalior).
• Preparing the budgeting and forecasting process of site CAPEX and FOOP, and provide explanation, analysis and recommendations to Operations Management.
• Analyze fixed cost actuals vs budget/forecast, production efficiency- and utilization results, monthly PPV and stock revelation, etc.
• Provide support to the Continuous Improvement, Business Operations Strategy analyses etc.
• In the first 2 years, will focus on Melody project relevant finance support as an assistant project controller. Meanwhile, be responsible for the existing factory product costing, Capex and FOOP related daily and monthly closing activity with local system before SAP established.
• Provide business analysis/ support with partially for PM/SM Asia business.

Requirements:
• Bachelor in Accounting/Finance, and/or CMA, CPA, MBA.
• Seasoned finance professional (5+ relevant working experience) with broad knowledge of and track record in Finance and Control processes in various businesses/operations/ SCM/manufacturing environments.
• Able to manage a complex network of stakeholders, including internally and externally.
• Experience in project management, including digitalization of financial processes.
• Familiar with IFRS and China GAAP.
• Experience with SAP (Product costing, project management, FICO).
• Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
