Operation Specialist

Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operation Specialist to support daily freight and logistics operations. The role involves coordinating shipments, managing operational workflows, ensuring compliance with logistics standards, and supporting sourcing and fulfillment activities to ensure smooth and efficient delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor daily freight operations including shipments, documentation, and delivery schedules.
• Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and clients to ensure timely and efficient shipment movement.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, issues, or operational disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and shipping documentation standards.
• Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and system updates.
• Support planning and optimization of freight routes, capacity, and costs.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as customer service, finance, and sales to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor operational KPIs and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Assist in vendor coordination, performance tracking, and service quality monitoring.
• Manage sourcing and fulfillment activities, including coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement, order processing, and successful delivery of shipments.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in freight operations, logistics, or transportation.
• Strong knowledge of shipping processes, documentation, and freight coordination.
• Experience in the freight or logistics industry is mandatory.
• Based in Jeddah or willing to relocate.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
