Operation Leader (Laem Chabang)

JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to plan, control, and supervise transportation operations and vehicle management to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant logistics activities. This role is responsible for overseeing driver safety, vehicle readiness, and transportation processes, as well as implementing and monitoring safety standards to minimize risks and prevent accidents. The position also supports continuous improvement in transportation safety performance and operational efficiency in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, manage, and supervise the operation of transportation vehicles, including tractor–trailer (prime mover and trailer) units, to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

Conduct safety training and provide knowledge related to safe driving and transportation practices for newly hired drivers, including ongoing guidance and performance follow-up.

Prepare, maintain, and submit transportation safety operation reports on a weekly and monthly basis for monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement purposes.

Handle, prepare, and manage all relevant documentation related to transportation operations and safety management, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and up-to-date records.

Monitor, control, and supervise drivers’ performance to ensure safe driving behavior and strict compliance with company regulations and safety standards at all times.

Coordinate and carry out vehicle maintenance activities, including pre-operation inspections, to ensure that all vehicles are in proper, safe, and ready-to-use condition.

Prepare accident analysis reports in the event of transportation accidents by investigating facts, identifying root causes, and proposing preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

Inspect and ensure the readiness and proper functioning of all safety equipment installed in transportation vehicles in accordance with relevant standards.

Conduct regular vehicle condition inspections, including tires, braking systems, signal lights, and other related components, to maintain transportation safety.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates who are able to start work immediately will be given special consideration.

Minimum education level of Higher Vocational Certificate (Diploma / Vocational Diploma or equivalent) or above.

Experience in Milk Run operations will be an advantage and given special consideration.

At least 1 year of relevant working experience.

Able to work from Monday to Saturday.

Able to work in Night shifts
