Introduction The LSEG D&A Workflows business offers a range of digital workflow solutions that deliver financial insights to help enterprise finance professionals make actionable decisions across the investment and trade-lifecycle. Open Directory is an LSEG and Microsoft Teams collaboration experience that connects experts across wealth management, investment banking, sales & trading (sell-side), buy-side asset management, and related front / middle / back-office roles - spanning equities, fixed income, currencies, and credit. We are seeking a Product Leader to drive this vision – someone with deep financial services experience and a passion for community-driven growth. In this role, you will own the product strategy for user engagement and growth, leveraging best practices from successful communities in other industries (e.g. technology, developer networks, social platforms) to make our platform the go-to hub for finance professionals. Key Responsibilities Product Vision and Strategy Contribute to the product roadmap for community features and growth specific to your region. Bring a regional lens to product roadmap and execution. Articulate a clear vision for how OD will evolve to serve financial services professionals in your region, incorporating cross-industry insights on what makes enterprise online communities flourish. User Engagement and Community Building Design features and programs that drive active community engagement on the platform. Implement creative engagement strategies such as gamification, interactive content, and exclusive events to enhance user participation and loyalty. Growth and Acquisition Own the user growth strategy for your region aligned with the product vision. Develop initiatives to onboard professionals and convert them into engaged members using organic and targeted outreach strategies. Community Product Design Collaborate with product teams to develop community-centric features. Ensure platform integration with existing tools and continuously innovate using cross-industry best practices. Cross-Functional Leadership Work with internal teams and external partners to translate community vision into product features and go-to-market plans. Foster partnerships for mutual growth. Metrics & Analytics Establish KPIs for community health and growth. Use analytics and feedback to inform product decisions and report on community success. Critical Deliveries Key deliverables include: Regional OD Community Vision, Strategy, and Execution Plan Community-to-Business Pipeline Metrics / Telemetry Dashboards Signature Community Programs or Events OD Engagement Model Internal Playbooks & Operational Infrastructure Leadership and Management Expectation Able to inspire, influence and motivate others to achieve ambitious goals. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members and cross-functional collaborators to ensure alignment and success. Key KPIs Business Metrics (Revenue Growth through OD opportunities, New Business Pipelines, Strategic Partnerships & Market Expansion) Community health and growth (e.g. Monthly / Weekly / Daily Active Users, engagement rate per user, retention cohort metrics, content contribution rates) Candidate Profile Community/Network Product Insight: Proven knowledge of building active online communities or networks with features like gamification, user-generated content, and personalization. Data-Driven & User-Centric: Expertise in analyzing product metrics, running experiments, and gathering user feedback to inform product improvements. Cross-Industry Perspective: Creative mindset with awareness of community engagement trends across industries. Financial Services Expertise: Significant experience in financial services with understanding of front, middle, and back-office functions. Regional presence and expertise: Understanding of regional trends in Financial Services and collaboration platforms. Product Leadership Experience: 5-10+ years in product management with at least 2-3 years in a senior role. Adaptability and Drive: Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to handle ambiguity, and strong user advocacy. Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage diverse audiences. Stakeholder Management Will be handling both internal and external stakeholders.
