Vous serez appelé à agir à titre d’opérateur.trice selon les projets assignés. Vous travaillerez avec nos clients

principalement au Canada. Ce poste requiert des habiletés pour travailler avec un minimum de supervision et

une flexibilité pour des déplacements sur site.

Le poste nécessitera de travailler des journées de 12 heures pendant environ 14 jours sur site, avec des

jours de déplacement vers les emplacements des clients au Canada. En fonction des besoins du projet,

le travail sur site peut être prolongé jusqu'à un maximum de 20 jours, et les horaires peuvent inclure

des quarts de jour ou de soir déterminés sur place.

RESPONSABILITÉS

• Opérer des unités mobiles de traitement d’eau dans des régions éloignées;
• Effectuer le suivi de procédés de traitement en effectuant des échantillonnages, des analyses de laboratoire et des mesures diverses telles que des dosages de produits chimiques;
• Procéder à l’entretien préventif des équipements;
• Rédiger des rapports de suivi;
• Réaliser des analyses de laboratoire;
• Analyser, diagnostiquer et apporter des solutions aux problèmes; rencontrés lors des opérations (procédé ou mécanique notamment);
• Participer/ superviser les travaux d’installation ou de démobilisation des unités mobiles de traitement d’eau en début et fin de projet.

SUMMARY

You will act as an operator according to assigned projects. You will work with our clients primarily in Canada.

This position requires the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Position will require working 12-hour days for approximately 14 days on-site, with travel days to

customer locations in Canada. Depending on project needs, on-site work may extend to a maximum of

20 days, and schedules may include day or evening shifts as determined on-site.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate mobile water treatment units in remote areas;
• Monitor treatment processes by performing sampling, laboratory analyses, and various measurements such as chemical dosages;
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment;
• Prepare follow-up reports;
• Conduct laboratory analyses;
• Analyze, diagnose, and provide solutions to problems encountered during operations (process or mechanical issues in particular);
• Participate in/supervise the installation or demobilization of mobile water treatment units at the beginning and end of projects.

EXPÉRIENCE

• Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) ou diplôme d’études professionnelles (DEP) en traitement de l’eau ou équivalent;
• Possède de très bonnes connaissances pratiques et des habiletés en diagnostique de problèmes en électricité, en mécanique, en instrumentation et en contrôle et aime les développer;
• Disponibilité à voyager au Canada;
• Maîtrise du français parlé et écrit;
• Connaissance avancée de l’anglais car il est fréquemment utilisé pour communiquer avec les clients/fournisseurs hors-Québec ainsi que pour la rédaction de rapports pour ceux-ci;
• Posséder un permis de conduire valide et un dossier de conduite irréprochable;
• Disponibilité à travailler de nuit et à vivre dans un camp;
• Forme physique requise pour pouvoir travailler de longues heures debout, travailler à l’extérieur, soulever et déplacer du matériel lourd.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• College diploma (DEC) or vocational diploma (DEP) in water treatment or equivalent;
• Possess strong practical knowledge and skills in diagnosing problems in electricity, mechanics, instrumentation, and control, and enjoy developing them;
• Willingness to travel;
• Proficiency in spoken and written French and English;
• Hold a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record;
• Availability to work night shifts and live in a camp;
• Physical fitness required to work long hours standing, work outdoors, and lift and move heavy materials.
