Redwood Strategy Group is seeking a skilled Trainer to support the USSOCOM Resource Management System (RMS) and its integrated OneStream Planning & Analytics platform. This role will focus on delivering high-quality end-user training and instructional materials for the fully developed RMS/OneStream solution, ensuring that USSOCOM financial management professionals can effectively execute the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. The ideal candidate will combine deep PPBE expertise with experience in designing and delivering system training in a DoD environment. Familiarity with USSOCOM mission and culture is highly desirable.
Our client is a specialized management consulting firm that engages experienced professionals and consultants to support the federal government with strategic project execution, financial process optimization, advanced IT solutions, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation. Through innovative transformations, they develop and implement strategies to optimize operations for military departments and agencies across the U.S. Federal Government.
What You Will Do
-Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for the USSOCOM RMS and OneStream Planning & Analytics solution.
-Design instructor-led and virtual training sessions, user guides, quick reference materials, and other job aids tailored to PPBE practitioners and decision-makers.
-Educate users on how the RMS supports PPBE functions including budget formulation, justification, and execution.
-Provide specialized sessions for advanced users such as planners, analysts, and leadership staff.
-Conduct hands-on demonstrations and workshops to build user confidence in leveraging dashboards, reports, and analytics features.
-Collect user feedback and recommend enhancements to training materials and delivery methods.
-Coordinate with functional and technical RMS/OneStream teams to maintain training accuracy as system updates are released.
-Support leadership briefings and stakeholder engagement to communicate training rollout and adoption progress.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM discipline, or 8 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree.
• Experience with DoD or USSOCOM PPBE process.
• Recent and relevant experience (2-3 years) with OneStream Commercial off the shelf Planning and Analytics implementation.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.


Desired Qualifications:
• Prior experience supporting USSOCOM programs or missions.
• Hands-on exposure to OneStream Planning & Analytics (configuration or end-user perspective).
• Familiarity with other DoD enterprise financial systems and reporting environments.
• Instructional design certification or equivalent experience in adult learning methodologies.
• Strong communication skills with ability to brief senior leaders and stakeholders.


Clearance:
• Active Secret or higher
