Gracie Barra Jiu-Jitsu North America is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to guide new franchisees through a high-touch onboarding experience that ensures long-term success.
This role is at the heart of our mission to bring Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu's benefits to everyone. You’ll be the main point of contact for new school owners, equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to successfully open and operate their Gracie Barra schools.

Ensure new franchisees are set up for success by delivering a structured onboarding experience, providing exceptional support, and equipping owners with the tools, resources, and confidence to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
Onboarding Execution
Guide new franchisees through Gracie Barra’s onboarding playbook.
Ensure compliance with Requirements to Open (lease, branding, insurance, instructor certification).
Keep franchisees on track with onboarding milestones, including CRM setup, revenue goals, and operational readiness.
Franchisee Support & Communication
Serve as the main point of contact throughout onboarding.
Provide clear, proactive, consistent communication to build trust and reduce friction.
Gather feedback from post-onboarding surveys and translate insights into process improvements.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Compliance, and IT teams to align all onboarding deliverables.
Support a seamless transition from onboarding to ongoing franchise support.
Tools & Resource Training
Train franchisees on key platforms such as GB Connect, GB Members, and GB Institute.
Lead onboarding sessions and 1:1 support calls as needed.
Maintain and enhance the onboarding resource hub.
Continuous Improvement
Track onboarding metrics including timing, satisfaction, and graduation rates.
Identify bottlenecks and propose quarterly improvements to enhance efficiency.
Align onboarding standards with evolving GB North America and global practices.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in onboarding, customer success, or operations.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communicator with a service-first mindset.
Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver.
Proficient with CRM systems, Monday.com, Google Workspace, and virtual collaboration tools.
Experience with franchise or martial arts operations is a plus.
