We are looking for an Onboarding Analyst to join our Underwriting team!
Our Underwriting team is responsible for ensuring that emerchantpay is at all times compliant with the laws, rules, and regulations in the jurisdictions in which we operate, as well as with scheme rules and regulations. The Underwriting team works closely with Account Management during the onboarding process of merchants and monitors merchant compliance on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluating and analyzing merchant applications and business models according to internal guidelines;
• Reviewing and verifying application documentation and conducting various background checks with internal and external tools to ensure compliance;
• Reporting the results of the background checks to Account Management;
• Collaborating closely with Account Management and other departments (if needed);
• Ongoing monitoring of merchant compliance by using established tools, according to internal procedures.
Requirements:
• Excellent English language skills – verbal and written;
• Ability to read and understand Greek (reading comprehension required for reviewing documentation; no speaking or writing in Greek is required);
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail;
• Experience with MS Office;
• Willing to innovate, learn and share knowledge;
• Proactive team player with excellent time-management and organizational skills;
• Previous experience in the payment industry would be considered an advantage;
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (AML, KYC, etc.) would be considered an advantage.
