Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Mine Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Guyana at the Oko West Mine Site.
Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities for mobile and fixed equipment to ensure optimal availability and alignment with production requirements.
Support the planning and tracking of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring timely execution and proper documentation.
Liaise with maintenance, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure availability of parts, tools, and resources required for maintenance work.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports using the CMMS, contributing to performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Minimum education: Diploma or degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance and/or relevant experience in the construction mining industry.
Relevant experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance coordination, planning, or supervision within the construction mining industry.
Additional skills: Strong organizational and planning skills; proficiency with maintenance management systems (CMMS); ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Salary Range: Negotiable.
Employment Type: Temporary contract for the duration of the construction.
Working Hours: Rotation schedule: 23 of work followed by 19 days off.
