Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Batch Plant Supervisor to join our team in Guyana at the Oko West Mine Site.
Supervise and coordinate all batch plant operations to ensure continuous and efficient production of concrete in accordance with project specifications and schedules.
Monitor mix designs, material quality, and batching processes to ensure compliance with engineering requirements and QA/QC standards.
Lead and supervise plant operators and maintenance personnel, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and environmental regulations.
Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, and procurement teams to ensure timely supply of raw materials and resolve operational issues to prevent delays.
Requirements
Minimum education: Technical diploma or certification in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology and/or relevant experience in the construction mining industry.
Relevant experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in concrete batch plant operations for gold mining construction projects.
Additional skills: Strong knowledge of concrete mix design, batching systems, and quality control procedures; ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment; strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Salary Range: Negotiable.
Employment Type: Temporary contract for the duration of the construction.
Working Hours: Rotation schedule: 23 of work followed by 19 days off.
