Mobile Crusher Operator
The Mobile Crusher Operator will be responsible for operating mobile crushing and screening equipment to produce high-quality aggregates in a safe and efficient manner for construction and mining operations at the Oko West project
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor mobile crushing and screening plants in line with production targets and safety standards.
Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on crushing equipment.
Load, move, and feed material using front-end loaders or excavators as required.
Monitor material quality and adjust crusher settings to achieve desired specifications.
Identify and report equipment faults, hazards, and maintenance requirements promptly.
Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve daily output targets.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including dust control and spill management..
Ensure all tools and materials are safely stored and transported.
Follow safety protocols, hazard recognition practices, and site-specific procedures at all times.
Participate in daily toolbox meetings and contribute to a positive, safety-first site culture.
Qualifications/Skills and Experience
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous labour or industrial work experience an asset (mining, construction, forestry, or similar).
Proven experience operating mobile crushing and screening equipment.
Knowledge of aggregate production processes and material specifications.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Strong awareness of workplace health and safety requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small, high-performing team.
Physically fit and able to work in a quarry or construction environment.
Working Conditions
Position based at the OKO Project site.
Work Schedule – 14 days on/7 days Off
Transport, accommodations, and meals provided on site
Compensation Package
2-years contract for the construction period, with the possibility of a permanent position once the mine is in operation.
