Summary
The Officer – Cargo Operations is responsible for monitoring and coordinating cargo build-up activities for both in-house and third-party (3PL) freighter operations. This role focuses primarily on e-commerce and solutions business, ensuring cargo is built up efficiently, accurately, and in line with flight capacity requirements. The officer also supports ground operations, system updates, and coordination with the Cargo Terminal Operator (CTO) to ensure smooth flight closure and cargo handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee cargo build-up activities for in-house and 3PL freighter operations, ensuring compliance with operational and safety requirements.
• Ensure optimal load utilization, with a target of 23 tonnes build-up for AK freighter operations, and full-fit utilization for other 3PL freighter flights.
• Coordinate closely with warehouse teams and CTO to ensure cargo is built, staged, and delivered according to flight schedules.
• Conduct CTO monitoring for ground operations, ensuring cargo acceptance, build-up, and handover activities are executed as planned.
• Support and monitor eHUB processing operations, ensuring cargo flows, scanning, and processing milestones are completed correctly.
• Perform and monitor ONET system updates, ensuring accurate and timely milestone status updates throughout the cargo lifecycle.
• Coordinate with CTO on flight closure activities, including cargo manifest checks, load confirmation, and final documentation readiness.
• Assist in resolving operational issues such as late build-up, system discrepancies, missing scans, or last-minute load changes.
• Support ground operations as and when required, including on-site coordination during peak periods or operational disruptions.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in cargo operations, logistics, e-commerce fulfillment, or ground handling operations.
• Basic understanding of cargo build-up, freighter operations, and ground handling processes.
• Experience or exposure to system updates and cargo milestone tracking is an advantage.
• Familiarity with CTO operations and warehouse coordination is preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, time-critical operational environment, including shift work if required.
• Good communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Basic proficiency in MS Excel, G Suites and operational reporting.
