About the Role
Based in Melbourne, this role is charged with organising and coordinating the administrative and office management requirements for the team based in Melbourne as well as support the global Operations function. Working closely with our EA/Office Manager in Sydney, the Melbourne Office Manager will provide office management support in several areas including administrative tasks and staff support, travel bookings, IT projects, marketing coordination, and arranging social and business events.
A key focus of the role will also be to provide administrative support to the People Team by scheduling inductions and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for all new people joining our offices in APAC.
The role further works with our finance team on credit card coding, data entry and will require the successful candidate to update and send out regular monthly reports with data from our finance system to the Leadership Team.
The successful candidate will be liaising with both internal and external stakeholders in a high energy, challenging and dynamic environment so attention to detail along with a positive and friendly disposition are a must.
Please note given the nature of the role this successful candidate will be required to work on site at our office in Melbourne CBD 5 days a week.
About You
We are looking for someone with a proactive attitude and 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative role with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is organised, efficient and highly motivated with a strong work ethic. This will be your opportunity to grow and contribute your own ideas for maintaining efficiency and a positive environment. You will enjoy being a strong team player and will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Other relevant skills and experience include
Strong background in administration and office management.
Experience organising office supplies and working with external vendors such as IT teams and building maintenance;
Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint & Word;
A vibrant, proactive personality with a can-do attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
A collaborative spirit to work seamlessly with different departments.
Attention to detail and a knack for proactive problem-solving.
Success in the Role

Prioritise requests as they come through from different teams and always be happy to lend a helping hand, especially to our Events and Client Management division.
Be proactive with initiatives that build office culture and become a trusted person others can come to with ideas.
Maintain a high level of organisation, given the number of time-sensitive tasks related to onboarding and reporting.
Support the wider Operations team in planning company-wide events, including the annual APAC conference, Christmas celebrations, and regular in-office events.
