Job Summary
Thriving Minds in Ada, MI is seeking an office manager with exceptional communication skills, efficient learning, computer literacy, ability to multi-task, friendly attitude, and confidence.
Typical work hours range from 25–35 hours per week (approximately 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Thursday), although some there is some flexibility in scheduling. Thriving Minds is a pediatric psychology clinic, with a beautiful office, supportive and fun staff, and fantastic work conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties
The office manager will be responsible for:
Greeting/assisting patients in the waiting room
Answering and making phone calls
Scheduling
Taking and processing payments
Managing paperwork and records (including scanning, faxing, etc.)
Organizing and maintaining the office (including minor cleaning, supply ordering, etc.)
Working on special projects
Providing administrative support for clinicians
Qualifications and Skills
A strong applicant would:
Have a deep desire to make a meaningful impact in the community
Have strong communication skills (both verbal and written), organizational skills (both analytical and problem solving), and the ability to work with confidential documents
Be detail oriented
Demonstrate the ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment
Be proficient in Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel), Google Drive, E-mail, and Internet
Have experience working in an office setting, where multi-tasking is necessary
