Job Description
Job Title
Offensive Security Coordinator
Job Description
Offensive Security Coordinator
As Offensive Security Coordinator within the Cyber Security Officers team of our Global Information Security Office (GISO), you will act as the central orchestrator for red teaming, penetration testing, and attack‑surface insight across our global organization.
Rather than executing all testing yourself, your primary responsibility is to coordinate, steer, challenge, and connect. Aligning internal teams, external providers, and first‑line stakeholders to ensure that offensive security activities are well‑prioritized, consistently executed, and effectively translated into risk reduction.
Operating across both IT and OT environments, you maintain a holistic view of our attack surface, ensure that findings lead to meaningful remediation, and actively enable “shift‑left” offensive security capabilities within the organization.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you will:
• Coordinate and oversee penetration tests, red‑team simulations, and vulnerability assessments across IT and OT environments, working with internal teams and external providers.
• Act as the single point of orchestration for offensive security activities, ensuring alignment between red team efforts, blue team capabilities, and cyber risk management.
• Maintain a global, consolidated view of the internal and external attack surface, identifying systemic weaknesses and prioritising high‑risk areas.
• Review, challenge, and contextualise technical findings and risk assessments to ensure they are relevant, actionable, and proportionate to business risk.
• Coordinate remediation and follow‑up, working with first‑line teams to track progress and remove obstacles.
• Collect, consolidate, and distribute threat intelligence and attack insights, translating technical signals into decision‑ready information for stakeholders.
• Establish and facilitate a Community of Practice (CoP) for offensive security, enabling first‑line teams to adopt testing, secure‑by‑design, and “shift‑left” practices.
• Collaborate closely with blue teams, Cyber Risk Officers, architects, and engineers to strengthen detection, response, and overall cyber resilience.
Key focus areas
• Offensive Security Orchestration: Plan, align, and govern red teaming and penetration testing activities end‑to‑end, ensuring coverage, quality, and follow‑through rather than ad‑hoc execution.
• Attack Surface Management: Maintain an up‑to‑date, risk‑based view of exposed assets and threat vectors, leveraging threat intelligence, scanning results, and stakeholder input.
• Risk‑Driven Challenge & Oversight: Review technical risk assessments and mitigation strategies, challenging assumptions and ensuring that controls meaningfully reduce risk.
• Remediation Coordination: Ensure findings do not stop at reporting: remediation actions are agreed, owned, tracked, and completed.
• Community & Capability Building: Lead offensive security Communities of Practice to embed security ownership in the first line and mature testing capabilities earlier in the lifecycle.
What do we ask from you?
• 3–5+ years of experience in red teaming, penetration testing, or offensive security, with demonstrated ability to coordinate and steer such activities at scale.
• Experience working across both IT and OT environments in complex or global organizations.
• Solid understanding of offensive security tools, techniques, and frameworks (e.g. Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, MITRE ATT&CK) — hands‑on execution experience is valued, but orchestration and oversight are key.
• Strong understanding of network security, application security, OT/ICS concepts, and common vulnerability classes (e.g. OWASP Top 10).
• Ability to review, interpret, and challenge technical findings and risk assessments.
• Scripting or automation experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash) is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications are desirable (OSCP, OSCE, CEH, CISSP, CREST, GIAC).
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.
• Fluent in English.
Your strengths
• Strong coordinator and connector, able to align diverse stakeholders around shared security outcomes.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to think like an attacker but communicate like a trusted advisor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Comfortable challenging teams constructively and driving follow‑up.
• Proactive, curious, and motivated to continuously improve security maturity.
• Ethical, detail‑oriented, and trusted with sensitive information.
• Effective in fast‑paced, global environments.

You will join a high‑performing global security organization where your impact is visible across technology, risk management, and business domains.
This role offers the opportunity to shape and professionalize offensive security at enterprise scale. influence security outcomes without being limited to hands‑on execution and act as a bridge between red team, blue team, risk, and engineering.
