Odoo Technical Consultant

Inbox Business Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Odoo Technical Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Odoo ERP system development and a passion for solving complex business problems through technical solutions. As an Odoo Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, customizing, and maintaining Odoo modules, ensuring they align with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules based on business and client requirements.
• Configure and enhance existing Odoo applications to improve functionality and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain Odoo features using Python and Odoo’s framework.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and system issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide support in data migration, system integration, and testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Odoo modules.
• Create technical documentation and user manuals for customized Odoo modules.
• Ensure Odoo system performance and scalability by implementing best practices.
• Provide training to end-users and offer technical support as needed.
• Participate in requirement analysis and solution design discussions with clients and internal teams.
• Maintain technical documentation, workflows, and customization records.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven 2-3 years of experience as an Odoo Developer or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in Odoo implementation, configuration, and customization.
• Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, XML, and other related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with the Odoo framework and its ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of core Odoo modules such as Sales, CRM, Accounting, Inventory, HR, and Manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of business processes, ERP best practices, and the ability to tailor Odoo solutions to meet client needs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and teams.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Experience with Odoo version upgrades and migrations is a plus.
• Odoo certifications will be preferred.
