Job Description

Your mission:
As an Ocean Import & Export Operations Junior Specialist (m/f/d), you will manage daily import and export tasks for customers in Hungary and the surrounding region. You will proactively address issues to ensure smooth operations and maintain excellent customer satisfaction. You will also explore potential Chinese customers in Hungary and the wider region.

Operations:• Actively participate in daily operations and follow up on the complete transport process
• Communicate effectively with internal departments as well as other Glovis offices and branches
• Provide customer support and handle customer inquiries

ERP System Updates & Maintenance:• Perform accurate and timely daily data entries in customers ERP systems
• Conduct regular status checks and data clean-ups
• Process system related demands for ocean freight and inland trucking

Customer Relationship Management:• Maintain relationships with existing Chinese customers
• Strengthen relationships and act as first point of contact for Chinese customers
• Respond to Chinese customer inquiries as needed

Business Support:
• Assist the Commercial and Operations Team to align strategies for increasing revenue

Your profile:
• Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, both written and spoken (preferred)
• University or College degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business or a related field
• 2-3 years of expereince in the freight forwarding or logistics industry
• Excellent planning & organizational skills
