Position Overview
As an Occupational Therapist at Reliant Healthcare Group, you will play a vital role in helping children reach their fullest potential through individualized, engaging, and goal-driven therapy.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, develop, and implement occupational therapy treatment plans with measurable goals
Engage patients using fun, age-appropriate activities and therapeutic interventions
Maintain accurate documentation of treatment progress
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality, coordinated care
Communicate effectively with families regarding progress and strategies for home support
Qualifications
Certification in Occupational Therapy
Valid Texas state license to practice Occupational Therapy
Pediatric experience preferred but not required
Basic Physical Requirements
Maintain various postures (kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting) for extended periods
Walk and run for extended periods as needed
Transition independently between sitting and standing
Perform quick body movements as required by behavior intervention plans
Lift a minimum of 25 pounds
Transfer, position, and transport patients and adaptive equipment
Read and interpret written communication via computer, electronic devices, and paper
Demonstrate manual dexterity for electronic documentation and data collection
