Job Description
Occupational Therapist – Adults
Western Suburbs, Brisbane QLD
If you prefer working with adults and want a role where your clinical thinking is actually valued—this one is worth a look.
We’re partnering with a well-regarded allied health provider that focuses on practical, outcome-driven care. No unnecessary complexity, no unrealistic targets—just the right balance of autonomy, support, and meaningful work.
The Role
A predominantly adult caseload across community and clinic settings, with flexibility to shape your week around your strengths. You’ll be working with a diverse mix of clients, giving you plenty of variety without losing consistency.
What your work will involve:
• Functional capacity assessments and goal setting
• Equipment prescription and home modifications
• Supporting clients with physical and psychosocial needs
• NDIS-focused work with a strong emphasis on outcomes
• Building long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders
Why this role feels different:
• You’re trusted to manage your own day—no micromanagement
• Realistic caseload expectations focused on quality, not volume
• Strong admin and operational support behind the scenes
• A collaborative team that shares knowledge, not just workloads
• Competitive salary + incentives aligned with experience
Who this suits:
• AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist
• Experience or strong interest in adult caseloads
• Comfortable working in the community and independently
• Practical, solutions-focused approach to therapy
Why Brisbane’s Western Suburbs?
This area offers a quieter, more relaxed pace compared to inner-city Brisbane, while still being well-connected. You’ll find leafy neighbourhoods, easy parking, and a strong sense of community—making day-to-day work more efficient and less stressful. It’s an ideal location if you enjoy a balance between professional growth and lifestyle.
If you’re open to exploring a role where you can focus on doing good clinical work without unnecessary pressure, this role is worth considering.
