Required Skills
Job Description
If you enjoy working with adults and want a role that focuses on practical outcomes not just ticking boxes—this opportunity offers a slightly different pace.
This is a privately owned clinic where the focus is on helping clients maintain independence, return to meaningful activities and improve day-to-day function. The work is varied, but intentional—less about volume, more about impact.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be supporting adult clients across a broad range of presentations, including functional assessments, rehabilitation, return-to-work support and ongoing capacity building. There’s a strong emphasis on real-world outcomes—home environments, workplace adjustments and long-term independence.
Your caseload will be clinic-based with the option to incorporate community visits, depending on your preference. You’ll have the autonomy to structure your day in a way that makes sense clinically.
Why this role stands out
• You’re given the space to think clinically, not just follow a template
• Reports are important—but not at the expense of client care
• Your caseload can be shaped around your interests (e.g. rehab, NDIS, workplace)
• You’ll work alongside experienced clinicians who are approachable and collaborative
About the clinic
This is a stable, well-run practice with a strong referral base and consistent demand. The team is professional but relaxed—no unnecessary hierarchy, just people who enjoy what they do and support each other.
There’s a clear understanding that good clinicians stay when workloads are manageable and expectations are realistic.
What’s on offer
• Competitive base salary with incentive structure
• Flexible working arrangements (full-time or part-time)
• Dedicated admin support to reduce admin burden
• Professional development allowance + mentoring
• Long-term stability within an established private practice
About you
• AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist (or eligible)
• Interest in adult caseloads and functional outcomes
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Comfortable working independently with support when needed
If you’re looking for an adult-focused OT role where you can work with purpose, manage your own caseload and be part of a grounded, supportive team—this is well worth exploring.
