Job Description
Paramedic Site Lead (Full-Time)
Location: New York, New York
Looking for predictable hours, steady pay, and the opportunity to lead while practicing at the top of your license—without the chaos of 911 response? We’re hiring an experienced Paramedic Site Lead to oversee on-site occupational health services at a large-scale construction project in New York City. This role offers a unique shift from reactive emergency care to proactive injury prevention, workforce health management, and leadership—all within a structured, full-time schedule.
About the Role
As the on-site clinical leader, you’ll manage daily medical operations from a dedicated clinic while serving as the primary resource for worker health and safety. You’ll operate independently while partnering closely with site leadership and the safety team to maintain a safe and productive work environment. This is not a traditional ambulance role. Instead, you’ll lead a proactive health program, build relationships, mentor staff (if applicable), and help prevent injuries before they happen.
What You’ll Do
Lead and oversee on-site medical operations and clinic workflow
Assess, triage, and treat workplace injuries and illnesses
Provide first aid and emergency medical response as needed
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure OSHA compliance
Perform and oversee occupational health testing and screenings
Monitor worker health trends and provide follow-up care
Support workers’ compensation and risk management processes
Collaborate with safety teams to promote a culture of prevention
Coordinate with local EMS and healthcare facilities when higher-level care is required
Serve as the primary point of contact for all on-site medical concerns
Assist with training, mentoring, and quality assurance initiatives
Why This Role Stands Out
No ambulance rotations or unpredictable shifts
Consistent full-time schedule in a major metro area
Leadership role with autonomy in clinical decision-making
Opportunity to shape and influence site safety culture
Long-term project stability
Strong partnership with site leadership and safety teams
Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours
Compensation & Benefits
Full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including:
Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
401(k) with company match
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Life insurance
Short- and long-term disability
Full-time hours with overtime opportunities
What You Bring
Current New York State Paramedic Certification
OSHA-30 certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days; company provided)
2+ years of experience as a licensed paramedic or healthcare provider
Prior leadership, supervisory, or site lead experience preferred
Experience in emergency, industrial, or occupational health settings (preferred)
Valid driver’s license in good standing
Strong clinical judgment, leadership, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently while leading in a fast-paced environment
