Responsibilities and Activities
• Design, implement, and optimize observability solutions on Splunk in close collaboration with end Users
• Develop and maintain advanced dashboards, KPIs and alerting mechanisms to monitor system performance and application health per business needs
• Provide technical guidance on Splunk usage and observability practices, both within our team and to end Users
• Build and manage log ingestion pipelines across multiple environments (on-premises, hybrid, and cloud)
• Ensure proper data governance, indexing strategies, and performance tuning within Splunk
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and Security teams to improve system reliability, incident response and troubleshooting
• Stay up-to-date with Observability trends and Splunk ecosystem updates
• Participate in the animation and sharing of experience through demonstrations, retrospectives, feedback
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in similar roles
• Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect
• Proficiency with main Observability concepts: logs, metrics, traces
• Strong expertise in Splunk Cloud: architecture, deployment, data modeling, SPL queries
• Familiarity with Cloud AWS environments and Terraform
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Technical expertise:
• Splunk Enterprise Cloud, AWS Cloud, Linux, Gitlab, Jira/Confluence, ServiceNow
 
• This position is based in Bangkok
• The role involves global collaboration, requiring flexibility to accommodate time zone differences.
