Skill Set Requirement

1. Understand reporting requirements, design OBIEE RPD (Data Modelling), design, coding and testing of reports

2. Prepare and maintain low level technical design document for reporting functionalities

3. Understand and adhere to customer coding standards and conventions

4. Ensure robust unit testing

5. Follow best practices and manage packaging, deployment and release of code into various environments with release management team

6. Ensure good quality delivery

Skill Set:

1. Understand reporting requirements and come up with a low level technical design document

2. Good experience designing RPD and RPD Modelling (Data Modelling)

3. Report design and development

4. Packaging (patching) and deploying to different test environments

5. Interact with the onshore requirement gathering teams and the customer to ensure requirements and solutions are well understood across teams

6. Participate / drive show and tell of the developed reporting features to the customer

7. Support all phases of testing including UAT

8. Provide first level of support for issues reported by application users

9. Author deployment guide

10. Experience of source control systems such as SVN

11. Knowledge of JIRA

12. Fluent English and good communication skill mandatory

• Works on a large portfolio of applications.

• Provides application design and documentation that spans multiple applications and/or functions.

• Participates, and may lead, on complex projects with significant impact on IT and / or business.

• Mentors less experienced team members.

• Prioritizes own work regarding the development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or enhancements to existing software.

• Works with technical staff and business to understand problems with software and assist to resolve them.

• Typically requires 5-7 years relevant experience.

Skills

• Consistently applies fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.

• Applied in-depth knowledge of one or more programming languages.

• Substantive knowledge of coding, testing and debugging.

• Proven ability to apply programming languages to develop solutions to business needs.

• Competent to work in all phases of applications programming and design.
