🛠️ What You’ll Do
🚗 Hands-On Vehicle Support
Assist technicians with day-to-day tasks in the service department
Clean and prep customer vehicles (interior & exterior)
Check and top off fluids, fill tires, refuel vehicles, and charge batteries
Move vehicles safely between service bays, parking areas, and showroom
Accurately track and update vehicle locations and status
🔧 Learn the Service Department from the Ground Up
Gain exposure to shop operations, tools, and workflow
Observe and assist with basic technician tasks as skills develop
Learn proper procedures, safety standards, and dealership processes
🧹 Shop & Service Area Support
Keep service bays, drive lanes, and parking areas clean and organized
Help maintain an efficient flow of vehicles throughout the department
Restock shop supplies and cleaning materials as needed
🙋 Customer & Team Interaction
Greet and assist service customers in a professional, friendly manner
Work closely with technicians, service advisors, and guest services
Assist with dealership events and special projects as needed
✅ Who We’re Looking For
Someone with basic mechanical aptitude or technical curiosity
Valid Illinois Driver’s License with a clean driving record
High school diploma or GED required (automotive or vocational training a plus)
Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
Comfortable working in all weather conditions and lifting up to 50 lbs
