We’re constantly on the lookout for retail talent! What we look for:
For all of our retail store roles, we look to hire fabric-loving individuals and the ideal candidates will be those able to deliver exceptional customer service. You’ll also have a genuine love for fabric, as well as garment construction knowledge.
In our retail positions, you will need to be pro-active in achieving sales targets and be passionate about providing a high level of customer service at all times. Previous retail experience is an advantage, however the ability to work in a team, passion for our product, and the right knowledge/skillset are the most important factors for us when hiring for our retail stores.
The successful candidate will have an innate love for beautiful fabrics and will be excited to work in a creative and inspiring environment. This is a great opportunity to join a mindful, fun, and energetic company in the fashion and textile industry.
About The Fabric Store:
The Fabric Store is a boutique fabric retailer, which specializes in contemporary designer dress fabrics and textiles, with a strong focus on natural fibres. Our brand began in New Zealand, and now has stores throughout New Zealand and Australia, as well as an international online store. Fabrics are sourced from both local and international designers and include silks, linens, wool suiting & coatings, satins, cottons and specialty pieces such as merino jersey, leather hides and Liberty of London prints. Our foundational values of mindfulness, respect, creativity, and quality are embedded in all aspects of our company, and we carry out these values daily with a sense of community and family spirit.
