About the position

Are you passionate about bringing nutrition science into practice? Would you like to join us and take a front seat in developing and executing our vision to create culinary products that are good for both health and the development of future foods?

You will be part of the Global Nutrition team. You will help develop and promote products that deliver on our commitment to providing culinary fats for better foods in a responsible and compelling manner. A good understanding of nutrition science, an affinity for data, and proactive cooperation with our product developers, marketing, and communication teams are key to success. You will engage in meaningful external interactions with key opinion formers to build a trusted voice in food and nutrition.

Product Development:

You will work on defining science-based nutritional standards for products and propositions in our portfolio. You will oversee the application of relevant nutrition standards to substantiate claims and communications in the AMEA and LATAM regions, advising product developers and brand managers. You will lead the nutritional strategic guidance in these regions for the development of foods and communications across all consumer touchpoints that support better health outcomes. In addition to leading nutrition support for the AMEA and LATAM regions, you will contribute to innovating with purpose to help develop new concepts that address nutrition and health scientific insights, dietary needs, and choices across different consumer segments.

Science at the core:

You will contribute to the internal centre of excellence of the Nutrition team, ensuring that consistent, clear, and compelling nutrition information is available for the wider business. In this role, you will work together with various stakeholders both within the R&D department and across Marketing & Communication teams, as well as Science and Technology experts. You will make an impact by bringing nutrition science into practice.

So what does it take to be successful in this role?  

You bring a passion for nutrition science and share the commitment to make better foods available for many. You are a true foodie, you love a healthy, nutritious lifestyle, and you recognize the need to create healthy and nutritious foods by offering consumer culinary solutions and choices with essential nutrition to support healthy, balanced diets. You hold a Master’s degree in nutrition and have 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Experience in a global FMCG is a plus. You are fluent in English, based in the Netherlands, and any additional language is nice to have.

In addition, you are able to work with senior stakeholders cross-functionally, and you are flexible, energetic, and willing to adapt within a fast-changing environment.
