Part-Time Nurse Practitioner

Location: Plainfield, NJ
Position: Part-Time (2–3 days/week)
Pay: $80–$90/hour

Job Summary

We’re looking for a Nurse Practitioner who wants a part-time role with a predictable weekday schedule in Plainfield, NJ. You’ll handle patient visits from start to finish—assessment, diagnosis, ordering labs, prescribing when appropriate, and follow-ups. The focus is quality care that’s organized and efficient, with clear documentation and smooth coordination when patients need referrals or ongoing management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations, including histories and physical assessments
• Diagnose and treat a range of conditions within NP scope
• Order, review, and interpret labs and diagnostic testing
• Prescribe and manage medications, refills, and follow-up plans
• Educate patients on treatment steps, prevention, and home care
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely chart completion

Requirements:
• Current NP license in New Jersey (APN)
• Board certification (ANCC or AANP)
• MSN or DNP required
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain quickly)
• BLS certification required
• Prior outpatient/clinical NP experience preferred
• Comfortable managing a patient panel and staying on top of charting
