We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to become a key provider in our dedicated Weight Management program. This provider will work exclusively in our weight loss and nutrition center delivering patient centered, compassionate care in a supportive, team-driven environment. 

You will work closely with a supervising physician and certified health coaches in a dynamic, patient-focused clinic designed to help individuals achieve meaningful and sustainable weight loss outcomes.

Monday–Friday daytime schedule—no nights, weekends, or major holidays 

Essential Job Functions 

Provide comprehensive weight management care under the supervision of a physician 

Perform physical examinations and document detailed patient histories 

Order and interpret labs related to obesity medicine, metabolic health, and chronic conditions 

Diagnose, treat, and manage obesity-related conditions and comorbidities 

Prescribe medications within scope of practice (e.g., GLP-1s, appetite suppressants, etc.) 

Develop individualized weight loss plans incorporating nutrition, lifestyle, and behavior support 

Collaborate with health coaches to track progress and adjust care plans 

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR 

Use sound clinical judgment in a fast paced, schedule driven environment 

Participate in continuing education and supportive clinic initiatives 

Perform additional duties as needed to support patient success 

Qualifications 

National certification as an NP or PA 

Current Utah licensure, DEA, and all required certifications 

3–5 years of clinical experience recommended (obesity medicine or primary care experience preferred) 

Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills 

Ability to connect with, motivate, and encourage patients throughout their weight loss journey 

Comfortable working in a collaborative, patient focused team environment 

Innovative, enthusiastic, and able to think independently in dynamic clinical situations 

Spanish language skills are helpful, but not required 

Schedule 

Monday through Friday 
40 hours per week 
Consistent daytime schedule—excellent work life balance.
