The Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Nurse Practitioner leader to help pioneer the future of technology-enabled primary care.

As our Nurse Practitioner Lead in Rhode Island, you will work in close partnership with our Physician Lead to establish and shape our AI-enabled primary care clinics from inception. This role transcends traditional clinical operations—it's a chance to fundamentally reimagine how advanced practice nursing can transform healthcare delivery through the integration of cutting-edge technology and compassionate care.

We need a forward-thinking clinician who is both clinically excellent and technologically curious, someone who can provide outstanding patient care while simultaneously helping to design the care delivery systems of tomorrow. You'll practice at the top of your license while also contributing to the development of innovative care models that can be scaled to improve access for underserved populations.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with our Physician Lead to develop and launch AI-enabled primary care clinics in Rhode Island, establishing clinical protocols and standards of care.

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan, practicing to the full extent of your license and training.

• Partner with our technology team to design and refine AI-assisted clinical workflows that enhance both provider efficiency and patient outcomes.

• Help build and mentor a diverse clinical team that shares our vision for accessible, technology-enabled primary care.

• Contribute to the development of innovative care delivery models that leverage the unique strengths of advanced practice nursing.

• Establish nursing-specific quality metrics and outcome measures that align with our mission of delivering exceptional care.

• Serve as a bridge between clinical and technical teams, translating nursing insights into actionable technology improvements.

• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and clinical research opportunities.

• Act as an ambassador and advocate for the expanded role of Nurse Practitioners in our innovative care model.

Who You Are

Required

• Active, unrestricted Rhode Island Nurse Practitioner (NP) License at the time of hire

• National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate population focus area (e.g., FNP, AGNP, DNP etc.) through ANCC or AANP

• Federal DEA Registration

• Rhode Island Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)

• National Provider Identifier (NPI)

• Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical practice experience in primary care or relevant specialty.

• Proven ability to lead and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a strong focus on patient-centered, high-quality care.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and drive improvement in fast-paced settings

• Systems thinker who can balance immediate patient needs with long-term care delivery improvements.

• Experience working in collaborative practice models with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

• Strong commitment to expanding healthcare access, particularly for underserved populations.

• Adaptable and resilient in ambiguous, fast-paced environments; comfortable with rapid iteration and frequent change.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across clinical, technical, and operational teams.

• Entrepreneurial spirit with the desire to help build something meaningful from the ground up.

Salary range
$120,000—$150,000 USD
