We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team in Monroe, NC. This full-time, on-site role focuses on delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced outpatient and urgent care setting. As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), you will provide evidence-based treatment and preventive care to a diverse patient population while supporting efficient clinic operations.
This position is ideal for a Nurse Practitioner who excels in urgent care and family practice settings, combining clinical expertise with patient-focused care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions while promoting health education and patient engagement in Monroe, NC.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, physical exams, and medical histories for acute and chronic conditions
• Diagnose illnesses and develop individualized treatment plans using advanced clinical judgment
• Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging, within scope of practice
• Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication adherence, and long-term wellness
• Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
• Provide patient-centered care in both routine and urgent situations
Requirements:
• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina (or eligibility)
• National board certification (AANP or ANCC) in Family Practice, Adult-Gerontology, or relevant population focus
• Experience in urgent care, outpatient clinics, or primary care practice preferred
• Strong clinical skills in acute care procedures, diagnostics, and patient communication
• Organized, detail-oriented, and team-focused professional with a commitment to compassionate care
