Compensation & Incentives:
• Base Salary Range: $79,000 – $110,000/year (based on experience)
• ~10 years: ~$98,000
• ~15 years: ~$110,000
• Sign-On Bonus: Not offered
• Relocation Assistance: Available, case-by-case basis
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Nurse Manager of Critical Care to oversee both the ICU and PCU, covering 31 total beds with approximately 48 FTEs. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will guide clinical operations, mentor staff, and drive quality improvement.
Schedule: Full-Time, Days (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM) with 24/7 leadership accountability as needed.  
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 24/7 leadership and accountability for ICU and PCU operations.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure continuity of patient care and discharge planning.
• Promote a culture of patient safety, service excellence, and evidence-based care.
• Mentor, coach, and develop staff while fostering engagement and retention.
• Manage departmental budgets, equipment, supplies, and staffing resources.
• Actively participate in hospital-wide initiatives for quality, safety, and patient experience.
• Minimum 3 years of recent (within the last year) ICU leadership experience in an acute care setting.
• Active RN license in Florida or Compact state.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN strongly preferred.
• Certifications:
• NIH Stroke Scale – within 30 days of hire.
• BLS – within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS – within 6 months of hire.
• PALS or ENPC – within 6 months of hire.
