Nurse Manager – Critical Care (ICU/PCU) | Sanford, FL
Full-Time, Days | Salary $79,000 – $110,000/year | Relocation Assistance Available
Overview
Advance your leadership career as a Critical Care Nurse Manager, overseeing a combined ICU and PCU with 31 beds and 48 full-time employees. Compensation & Incentives
• Salary range: $79,000 – $110,000/year (based on experience)

Responsibilities
• Provide 24/7 leadership and accountability for ICU and PCU operations
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, hospital policy, and regulatory requirements
• Drive quality outcomes, patient safety, and staff engagement across both units
• Lead interdisciplinary collaboration for continuity of care and safe discharge planning
• Mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff while building strong retention and engagement culture
• Manage budgets, staffing, equipment, and resource allocation
• Partner with hospital-wide leaders on initiatives for safety, service, and patient experience
Required
• Active RN license in Florida or Compact state
• Minimum 3 years of recent ICU leadership experience at the Manager level in acute care
• Nursing Diploma or ADN; BSN strongly preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale (within 30 days of hire)
• BLS (within 30 days), ACLS (within 6 months), PALS or ENPC (within 6 months)
Preferred
• 5+ years of progressive ICU/PCU leadership experience
• BSN or MSN in Nursing Leadership/Administration
• Demonstrated success in staff development, quality metrics, and regulatory readiness
