Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Full-Time | On-Site in the Stuart, FL area
About Us
Stuart Cardiology Group is a leading cardiovascular practice on the Treasure Coast. We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our imaging team. We are open to full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules.
Position Summary
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing cardiac PET/CT and SPECT imaging, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring a safe, positive experience for every patient.
Responsibilities
Perform PET/CT and SPECT imaging following established protocols
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and pharmacologic agents
Operate and maintain imaging equipment; complete QC procedures
Monitor patients and respond to adverse reactions
Educate and support patients throughout testing
Ensure compliance with all radiation safety and regulatory standards
Qualifications
Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
ARRT (N), NMTCB, or CNMT certification required
State of Florida Nuclear Medicine Technologist license required
Experience with cardiac imaging preferred
Skills
Strong communication and patient service skills
Detail-oriented and professional
Able to work independently and within a team
