Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Fort Pierce, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: 8-hour shifts (Days, Evenings, Rotating Weekends)
Shift Options: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Compensation: $30.34 – $42.47/hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Case by case
Relocation Assistance: Case by case
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a high-performing imaging team in a large acute-care hospital setting. This role offers diverse scheduling, competitive pay, and the opportunity to grow in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
• Perform nuclear medicine procedures utilizing ionizing radiation in accordance with ALARA standards.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain nuclear medicine equipment to ensure quality imaging and patient safety.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring accurate dosage and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient and procedural records in compliance with regulations.
Required:
• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Active State Registered Radiologic Technologist license
• Certification by ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB
• BLS (within 30 days of hire)
• ACLS (within 30 days of hire)
Preferred:
• Prior experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in an acute care setting
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
