Non-Invasive Cardiologist (MD/DO)
Position Summary
The Non-Invasive Cardiologist provides comprehensive cardiovascular care through the evaluation, diagnosis, and medical management of patients with heart and vascular disease. This role focuses on non-invasive diagnostic testing, preventive cardiology, and longitudinal patient care, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Evaluate and manage patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions
• Diagnose and treat coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, hypertension, and lipid disorders
• Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac diagnostic studies, including echocardiography, stress testing, ambulatory monitoring, and cardiac imaging as applicable
• Provide inpatient cardiology consultation services and outpatient clinic care
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Participate in preventive cardiology and cardiovascular risk-reduction initiatives
• Collaborate with interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac surgery, primary care, and other specialists
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, lifestyle modification, and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and outcomes initiatives
• Supervise and educate residents, fellows, or advanced practice providers as applicable
• Comply with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards
Qualifications
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program
• Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Disease fellowship
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease
• Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure
• DEA registration or eligibility

• Outpatient cardiology clinics, diagnostic testing laboratories, and inpatient hospital settings
• Call coverage as determined by practice or service needs
Physical Requirements
• Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout clinic and hospital environments
• Manual dexterity for diagnostic testing and examinations
• Visual and auditory acuity sufficient for interpretation of diagnostic studies
Requirements:
Must maintain state certification and/or licensure.
Must be legally licensed to practice medicine in North Dakota and/or Minnesota, depending on the location of the practice to which you are assigned.
