Aspen Fiber Networks is seeking a skilled Nokia PON Contractor to support the deployment and maintenance of Passive Optical Network (PON) solutions for our clients. In this contractor role, you will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting Nokia PON equipment and infrastructure to ensure reliable and efficient fiber optic network performance.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Nokia PON technologies and a strong understanding of fiber optic network architectures. You will collaborate closely with project teams to successfully deliver high-quality PON solutions meeting client specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities
Configure and test Nokia PON equipment and related fiber optic infrastructure.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on PON networks.
• Collaborate with engineering and field teams to ensure proper deployment and integration of Nokia PON solutions.
• Document installation and maintenance activities accurately.
• Identify and resolve PON-related technical issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices during all activities.
• Support client technical inquiries and coordinate with vendors as needed.
Requirements:
• Proven experience working with Nokia PON equipment and technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Passive Optical Network (PON) architectures and fiber optic networking.
• Proficiency in installation, testing, and troubleshooting of fiber optic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and network diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project teams.
• Familiarity with safety standards and industry regulations related to fiber optic installations.
• Relevant certifications in fiber optics or telecommunications are a plus.
• Flexibility to work on-site at client locations as required.
